IVN Task 04 :Animated Video with Caption
Task 04 : Animated Video with Caption
Description of Inspiration/Rationale
If you want happiness for an hour — take a nap.
If you want happiness for a day — go fishing. If you want happiness for a year — inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime — help someone else.
Among all the given quotes, this sentence touched me the most because it shows that helping others can bring the longest-lasting happiness.
It is a simple idea, but it is a truth that is often ignored in daily life.
I wanted to use the cute and simple characters that I designed before to tell this life lesson in a warm and poetic way.
I tried to create a strong connection between the text and the visuals.
By showing a happy day in the life of Momo and Miya, I tell this life lesson through their actions and emotions.I hope this video can make the audience feel relaxed, warm, and happy.

Final outcome
Self Reflection
Through this final project, I feel that my skills in both Adobe Illustrator and After Effects have improved a lot.
When working in Adobe Illustrator, I became more organized with my layers.
Compared to before, I no longer mix up my layers while drawing characters and backgrounds.
This helped me work faster and made the animation process smoother.
In After Effects, I am now more confident in creating simple animations.
I learned how to control basic movements, timing, and transitions more smoothly.
Even though the animations are simple, I feel more comfortable using After Effects than before.
Overall, this project helped me improve both my technical skills and my confidence in animation.
It also encouraged me to think more carefully about how to tell a story through visuals and movement.
