DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGING - Week 7

Lectures: 

This week, Mr.Fauzi showed us how to shoot simple product photos at home.He explained the basic equipment we can use, such as a camera or a smartphone, and why a tripod is important.Good lighting was also a key point. Natural light works, but continuous lights like LED panels or softboxes help create stable results.Mr.Fauzi also talked about choosing clean backgrounds and placing the product in the center so the viewer can see it clearly.He showed how different angles, such as eye-level, 45-degree, and top-down, can change the feeling of the photo.These points helped us understand how to create clear and simple product photos at home.

Tutorial: 

During the tutorial, we watched two videos that explained how to use simple tools at home to take product photos.The videos showed how to set up one light source, how to control shadows, and how to use a small space to shoot objects.This helped me understand how lighting and space work together to create a clean and professional-looking photo.

Practical:

This week’s practice continued the progress of Project 2.
We needed to apply what we learned about lighting and space to develop ideas for our photo manipulation project.I used the methods shown in the tutorial videos and tried to take proper product photos at home.This helped me understand how to control light, reduce shadows, and create clearer images for my project.
